Hexima Limited announced the company has signed a research license and commercial option with Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON). The license has been granted for anti-fungal research in wheat with a future option for commercialisation pending research results. Fungal disease is a major source of yield losses of major food crops in every continent and causes significant annual losses for wheat growers. Wheat is the world’s largest crop by area, 22 November 2011.

HEXIMA DELISTS FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES EXCHANGE

Hexima Limited delisted from the ASX on 17 June 2011. Hexima is now an unlisted public company. The share registry continues to be maintained by Link Market Services. Regular updates will be provided to shareholders.

PROFESSOR MARILYN ANDERSON ELECTED TO THE AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE

Professor Marilyn Anderson, whose research is helping develop new varieties of disease resistant crops for the global agricultural industry, has been elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science.
