This technology enables the delivery of several proteins to a plant from a single transcript. Use of this technology to produce several different proteins in plants can assist plant breeders in developing traits for market and may also facilitate the regulatory process. The MGEV is being used in the company’s fungal and insect programs.

Plants expressing multiple proteins of a range of molecular weights using this MGEV technology have been produced. Further ways in which this technology can be used are in development.
